This Privacy Policy explains how Zoink Studio ("Zoink Studio", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information in connection with our website at zoinkstudio.com (the "Site") and the mobile applications we design, build and publish (each, an "App", and together with the Site, the "Services").
We are an independent app studio, and we care about your privacy. Our guiding principle is to collect as little personal information as possible.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us. If you email us (for example at hi@zoinkstudio.com) we receive the email address you write from and the contents of your message, so that we can reply and provide support.
Information collected automatically on the Site. Our website is a static marketing site. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that profile you. Standard server logs may temporarily record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and reliability purposes.
Information collected by our Apps. The specific data an App collects, if any, is described on that App's listing and within the App itself. Where an App processes personal data, we limit collection to what is needed to provide the App's features. Many of our Apps are designed to store your content on your own device whenever possible.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services;
- To respond to your questions, feedback and support requests;
- To keep the Services secure and to detect and prevent abuse;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
4. Third-Party Services
Some Services may rely on third parties to function. For example, app store providers (such as Apple and Google), hosting and infrastructure providers, or crash-reporting tools that help us fix bugs. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Distribution through the Apple App Store is additionally subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hi@zoinkstudio.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Users
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with this policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be made reasonably prominent.
